Anyone ever have trouble with ignition fuses blowing??

Today, I was returning to work after lunch. My car just quit! I turned out that the 30amp ignition fuse blew. I went and bought a new one, started car and imediately blew again. I know there's perhaps an exposed wire somewhere. Just wondering if anyone has had this prob?

Thanks for your post brother. My stereo/amps are out as well as all fusible links. I just got my car back from the paint shop and had removed it all before droping it off. I hope the butchers didn't f*ck this up too!

Day 2, of my fuse prob........Yup, brother you were correct! There was a nick of insulation missing through the monster cable before the fuse and was arcing out on a little bracket under the dash! Thanks! I hate electrical problems. Too many variables!

Do you have a lot of things tapped off of your ignition wire? This happened to me, the reason why b/c i wired up a switch that need power off of that wire and as soon as i flipepd teh switch, lights out. It turned out when i hooked teh switch up, i had the power wire & ignition wire reversed. Doh! Did you install anything lately? that might have something to do with it.
