i just got a chip on my windshield... right now its in the left hand bottom corner ...
any one have any idea if these things spread..
and if so how much does it cost to get it fixed at a glass shop

do those glass repair kits work , the ones from walmart and other automotive stores. ?

Why worry ? Most issues with glass are covered by your insurance policy. If it spreads accross your wind shield you can get a new one for little or no money.

 

y go through all the hassle if u can get it fixed for 10, 15 $

 

most insurance companies will fix chips at no charge so you dont claim the whole winshield later when the crack spreads.

 

Well, not everyone has comprehensive insurance coverage, some of us just stick with the collision and/or liability.
