Photoshop help..

At first I placed this thread at Wheels&Tires, but i figure it was the wrong place... So here it goes now:

I am having problems figurerin out what to do with the disc brakes I tried leaving the original wheel and I tried painting it dark gray... none looked nice...

First of all, I don't know photoshop, it took me almost 1hr to do this crappy picture here:

And this was the orignal picture, with original wheel and blanked off rear wheel:

Any tips on how to make this look real? Thanks in advance!

And just in case someone wants to show off and give me a hand, these are the pictures of the wheels I want to photoshop:

this was real quick

If you take that grey circle off, that would help. Or find a picture with these wheels mounted on another car

If if take the grey circle off, the rear will just look like the front, because thats the original wheel in the picture.

The whole problem is figuring out what to do with the disc brakes. And I tried looking for pictures of the wheels mounted on another car, but usually the pictures are not straight frontal shots, and the wheels are on a side view

I'm not sure what you mean, by "figuring out what to do with the disc brakes"

I had some free time on my hands so here you go

I never photoshoped wheels onto cars before, but I think this is fairly decent.

I'm saying go with the bonus option.

I can photoshop a couple of them for you if you still want. Although what I do is match up the new rim to the old one so that there is the most overlap with the old rims. then i fill in the missing pieces of the brakes or whatever else is behind the wheel then go with it.

look at my phothsop and you'll see what I mean: i tried blanking off behind the wheels and it didnt look good (rear wheel on first pic) and I also tried leaving the original wheel behind the new wheel, and it also didnt look nice (front wheel, 1st pic)

What I mean is that I dunno how to draw (or whatever I have to do) to make this look real with regards to the disc brakes.

This looks great man! How did you draw/copy/inserted disc brakes in it?

Dude... this is like PRO work! I have no idea what you did, or which program this Firework thing is... But do me a HUGE favor: please JPG the same car but WITHOUT any wheels, just the thingie on the background (supposedly the disc brakes) so that I can quickly swap different wheels in photoshop!

Thanks man!

Fireworks is a program made by Macromedia (Now Adobe) that is usually used for photo aid for web designers.

I just cut out the white area in the rims you've provided and feathered the edge by 3px, slapped them on, over the black circle (Having the lip Cover the edge of the circle) Adjusted the brightness and contrast and that was it. Oh, and my obviously fake shine spots

Hope it works out for you.
