The lenses don't wrap around to the side/back. But, it's till looks nice. How did you get the lenses to fit so well in the mirror housing?

 

that's a secret.. i actually bought those for myself while i was in taiwan, but i guess it fits on the 4th gen.. darn.. those are just for looks. it's illuminated by indiglo, blue.. haha very illegal but extremely sexy. it doesn't matter if it can't cover the sides or back, because you got the tail lamps.]
i know how to build em' now tho. real easy. but ya know.. if i tell u then.. i gotta.....

where did you get that in Taiwan? I may as well call them up and have them ship me a set over to the U.S.

 

If he's in your blind spot, he'll be too far up to see your rear lamps and not up enough to see those mirror or front end lamps.

If you inspect the new turn signals on the MBs...you'll notice that the lens on the mirror wraps around the edge of the mirror housing.

 

Good observation, now that I've taken a good look at it, it doesn't wrap around like the MB's. Regardless, it's a nice looking product and a unique modification.

but.. imho. get the m3 mirrors that have the wrap lense pieces and then get it custom fitted to the 4th gen...
