i went in the trunk to put my jack back in, and i found this part on the side...idk how ive missed it for 4 months but i have nooooo clue what it is...all i know is its brand new.

My guess it has something to do with the timing chain guides..

timing chain slack thngy. I kno where it goes, dunno what it's called (bsides on the label you have there). Keeps your chain from flopping around and/or jumping off cogs.
