about 200 and some change... that's how much it cost me to ship some 18 inch wheels and tires. DHL and USPS is probably going to be your best bet with cheapest shipping cost.

I took and quoted an 18 inch wheel with a 245 45 18 michelin pilot sport to a few places.26X26X10 -50 lbs.USPS said $25.UPS said 23 and some change but I had to put it in a box.If not they would charge me an extra $10 for "irregular package".They wanted almost $7 for box from there.Fedex's quote was $20.

I have never shipped any with tires on them.

Just wheels, I went to a local tire store and they gave me boxes from some aftermarket rims they had for sale. UPS was the cheapest from Oregon to Colorado.

Just make sure to deflate the tires first so it's lighter

DHL is very competitive when shipping items. I had a set of 4 tires/rims sent from Wisconsin to TN, for only $60 total.

I found to avoid the irregular shipping surcharge just slap a piece of cardboard on the top and bottom of each wheel/tire and tape around them. Thats how tirerack ships.

That's how my last set came from Discount. (via UPS)

expect to pay about $25 each for that for UPS shipping.
If the receiver doesnt' mind driving a little bit to get them, check with Greyhound. they truck small shipments like that around pretty cheap.

Thats odd... ups told me the cardboard on top and bottom was fine, ended up shipping with usps and they were fine with it too.
