3 year alignmnet from tires plus or kingdom
What do you guys think about these?.... 3 year unlimited alignment thats transferable to another car once.
for $120 + tax.
a normal one time alignment from my indy costs around 50$ i think.
--
side note... my rear right tire has uneven tire wear on the inside.... to a point before i replaced my tires... the right rear had 15% tread remaining on the middle and outside... and cords showing on the inside.
so i thought an alignment could fix all this.... but a friend said that it could be something else... bent rear axle... or faulty bearing.... because i told him my car was involved in a "minor rear end accident" according to carfax back in 2003... and stated that it was fixed by the dealership..and i bought the car in 2007... so i thought nothing of it.

^ Look for it on sale... They run $140 normal price in my area and I got mine for $120. It's been as low as $100, too.
Funny thing is, the local Tires Plus was purchased by Firestone about 2 years ago.

I definatly dont plan on owning my max for a lifetime... probably less than 3 years.... but if they let me transfer it more than once to another car... i might get the lifetime one...
ill be finishing college in another year and halfish... and hopefully make the big bucks... and want to treat myself then.
---
btw... these alignments... these are full alignments rights?... i was reading reviews online... saying some stores dont do certain things... like rear camber... or toe... and charge extra for stuff like that...
when i get a full alignment...
what is supposed to be included... for all 4 wheels.... so i can ask them to make sure they are all included.

Firestone lifetime alignment ...I get mine checked about every
6 months or when I switch wheels. Potholes are a biatch... Already had it put back to spec 4 x's...
Don't get the 3 yr. deal, just go to Firestone for the lifetime deal and get it done whenever you have front end work done or once a year.

^ Yup, prices can vary (greatly, apparently) by region...
Honestly, if you don't plan to keep the max for 3 years, Tires Plus sounds like a good deal. It would boil down to that fact, and ease of getting to Tires Plus or Firestone for me.

i think he trying to pull a fast one...
i called and asked him the question "hey... do you guys have any specials on the lifetime alignment?"
the reply : " yea... its normally 149... but i can do it for 119 today... "

In Knoxville, they had the lifetime for $100 for May, then $120 up until 2 months ago. In Cookeville (only 1.5 hours away), it's always been $150. I had them pricematch the one in Knoxville, then used a coupon!

+1 for Lifetime Alignment. I get one every time I get an oil change.
Firestone doesn't transfer to other cars, but if you call up corp and complain a little, the DM usually authorizes it.

wow, i only pay 44.00 for an alignment and i only do it once a year. so, to me this would have been a good deal except i dont trust kids to work on my car. cj's tires, and they do a great job. and they don't scratch the rims.

I already got the one from tires plus... 3years @ 119$..... only got it for the transferable feature.... that firestone didnt have
one thing that sucks... that i found out earlier.... is that they cant do the alignment if i get differnt size rims or lower the car.... because they dont know at what specs to align the car at...
any way to get around this?

As far as lowering, they should still be able to align it as close to spec as possible.
Size of wheel doesn't matter because the overall diameter doesn't change. They just have to adjust the clamps that attach to the wheel.
