Ive seen them in CF for the 350z but not many for the maximum. Some people have actually painted their own with great results.

I paid around 50 bucks or so extra while my car was in the shop. I'll take some pics for you soon. It's sitting in my room for the winter, but still dirty so I'll clean it up.

Here's the one I created for myself, but now soonerfan has it. I'm probably gonna make another one with another design.

I haven't looked at his pictures lately, but it should be. I sold it to him when I was parting out my car to sell, but I think I'm going to hang on to it so i'll just make another one.

Thank you. No I have not sold it. I demodded it and was trying to sell it, but have since decided against it. I'm going to keep it and go a focused performance route. I have a couple mods still but I have to start again. Sounds stupid but it's fun all over again the second time around.

I was planning on doing custom painting starting at $35 for something simple...so if anyone is still interested send a PM.

Stock....

Painted...

Here's how mine looks currently (re-done)...

Before the re-paint I had it painted the same way with the VQ35 lettering in just silver with metallic black gloss from duplicolor.

Ok, I've got a question. What exactly is the purpose of an engine cover? Is it just to improve the aesthetics of the engine when you pop the hood?

To remind you how much displacement and how many cylinders you have.

Here is a bad picture of mine. I just wiped it down, needs more love.

Jess, I'm sure you would get people interested in engine covers getting painted. Hell, I might send mine down to get redone.

Sure do let me know. It's basically $30 for labor and $5 for paint. Color matched and more detail is different.
