AWD was predicted.... haha funny

http://www.freshalloy.com/site/cars/...iew/home.shtml

its pretty interesting how back in 03 they so confidently predicted AWD and a 6-speed manual transmission for the all-new 2004 maxima. Well they were right about one of them. Maybey they'll predict a V8 engine and RWD for the next generation Max. I just thought it was interesting to go back in time and take a peek of certain articles on maximas.

Expected competition includes the Audi A6 and some might dare say BMW's 5 series.
That is the funny part.

Nissan NA engineers themselves told me they were expecting RWD V8 on the '09 max ten years ago.

10 years ago... when Ghosn stepped in? Maybe he had some kinda plan that didn't quite make it through the bean counters?
