3rd brake light hole

Does anyone know if the cover from a 5th gen is large enough to cover the CHMSL (3rd brake light) hole in a 4th gen?

3 different dealers told me that the 4th gen ones are no longer available so I though I'd buy a 5th gen. I just don't want it to be either not long or wide enough. I don't really care about the plastic legs (clips) underneath, I just need to know if the top (cover itself) is large enough to cover the hole.

pic is of my 4th gen...

Thanks,

I think thats a crock. I found the parts here:

http://www.courtesyparts.com/betasit...1920_1928.html

Did they all come with the brake light? If not, you'll have to ask what the part number is to get a package shelf without the light.

The website doesn't list the plastic cover and I don't actually want to replace the entire shelf.

I'll probaby go the junkyard way...

Wow! That looks nice! I've seen work like that in trunks but that looks awesome on that rear shelf!
