Dynos
Dynos
Since I love dynos so much (and becuase a friend owns one), I decided to put my other car (the Dodge Spirit R/T) on the rollers this weekend.
This car is the stock, 109,000 mile 2.2L 16 V except for a 3" turbo back exhaust with cutout and a manual boost controller. Total investment was less than $200. Boost is 13 psi. Compression ratio is 8:1.
Click the link in my sig for the dyno results. Suffice it to say that for less than I paid for the CAI for the Max, the R/T put a severe pummeling on Mad Max

Not quite Gary Donovan numbers, but quite good anyway.
His will make just a wee bit more power though
Probably double.Ill get mine upto about 300 whp and call it quits. I should be able to do that for free....just a few more turns on the manual boost controller and the bigger injectors I have already.
Why dont you put that 2002 Max on the dyno?!?! I, along with many others Im sure, are very curious what they will do! Im guesssing something in the 220 whp range.
