question about strut boots

do i need to change it?

just a bit of information on my car to get better knowledge.
1997 gxe round 60,000 miles
lowered on gc coilovers been riding on stock struts for bout 2 months
and im gonna get the raised strut mounts

i dont wanna spend 50 dollars if its not gonna affect that much

they are pretty much dust boots to keep the dirt out.. so if yours are worn.. its a good idea to just go ahead and change them.. its not top priority.. its really up to you

I didn't change mine the 3-4 times that I swapped out springs/struts... mine were/are in pretty good condition.

Check yours visually. If they aren't deformed or ripped, I would leave them... it's a waste of money IMO.

You can find them cheeper. I got mine for $7 a pair. They are made by Rancho for trucks. But they work fine on my Tokicos.
