Car maintenance with side skirts???

For those of you with side skirts, do you have to take them off when you get new tires, alignments, or other work done so the shop can lift the car? I don't know if i should just screw the skirts on or use double sided tape also.

i have screws and tape on mine, and you dont need to take them off. The jack up points are behind the skirts

hes right.... the slots for the jack are behind the sideskirts and they are still low enough you can jack your car up and not take the sides off

so even when you take your car to a shop with a lift it doesn't cause a problem right?

The skirts, do not get in the way at all! They are out away from all lifting points around the rocker panel! If you are getting the skirts I also recomend that you don't screw it into the rocker eighter! Alot of people have done this and is not needed. I've just done mine and when I pre-fit these w/ two screws at each end of rocker panel, I noticed it would take no more than 3m tape to keep it to the car at this point! If you put hole in the rocker and moisture gets into them, it'll be irreversable corrosion from the inside out! I live in New England, so this is especially a problem here.....Good luck! P.S. This is my car before all the new stuff!
