Got my 3rd gen in September 2005 at 19 years old

Then I got my 4th gen in June 2008 when I was 22

Then I bought another 4th gen in January 2009 at 22

Currently still own all 3 at age 24

I'm 32, currently own a 96 GXE auto, white with 300k miles, saved from the junkyard and gradually bringing back to decent-car-dom. Also have a black on black leather 97 SE 5 speed I'm currently acquiring parts for in order to bring it back from the dead. Other than those 2, since I was 25 I've owned:

95 SE black/black 5 speed
90 SE black/black lther 5 speed
95 GLE green/tan
89 GXE White/blue w/240k but mint condition
90 White/black SE 5 speed
03 I-35 diamond graphite/black

I was 18 when I first got my 99 Max.

When I was 22, she got hit from behind, and I upgraded to a 5.5 gen 6 spd.

By the time I was 25, I got sick of modding my car and decided I would just by the fastest sport sedan I could get my hands on so I'd no longer have to mod cars. And let me tell you... it's everything I hoped it would be.

Yeah, I had 120k on my 02, it was burning oil like crazy, and I just got tired of working on the car. I loved that it was fast and looked good, but in order to get more out of it, I had just lost the interest in the work to do the kind of modification it would take. I decided what I wanted was something I could take out of the box that already had the speed, suspension, and style that I wanted.

On my max I had changed out the stereo, AE kickplates, synthetic gear oil, exhaust, intake, LED guages, yellowed fogs, RSB, FSTB, and a bunch of other things. I just got tired of it not giving me everything I wanted after all the work. So I upgraded and called it a day.

I don't really see the Maximas as all that much of a Gen ownership thing vs age but it does seem like those who are a little older are buying the 7th Gen more these days.

I have two 5TH Gens (well one is 5.5) 2K GXE and a 2K3 SE and currently I own a 7TH Gen SV and I'm 45.

30, Just bought 2010 Max SV with sport and tech package on 7/13/10. I owned a '07 bmw 328 and the Maxima is way better. Never thought I would say nissan is better than BMW but I'm eating my words and loving it.
