Today is the Day for my 6-spd

Ok i'm leaving in about 30 minutes to go to Smithtowm New York, bluefish's dealership to pick up my 6-spd. It's majestic blue, black leather and had everything but the navigation system. it's gonna be a good drive plus the damn ferry ride but i'll be back by 6. i'll have a topp speed to post when i get back.

top speed...

you better calm down man, break that baby in smoothly... don't go to the track with like 50 miles on the car! But other then that, I can't wait to see it... you got the best color combo...

So YOU must be the guy from Massachusetts they told me about. I went there wanting to test-drive a 6-speed, and yours was the only one IN THE LOT!! They would not let me drive it, of course (I don't blame them) because they said "some guy from Massachusetts" had ordered it and was coming to pick it up. They did show it to me though - VERY NICE CAR and good luck with it.

Please let me know what you think of the car!!

Your gunna try to get a top speed alreayd?!

So much for proper break-in. And dammit, you should have saved the NOS system for this car.

I mean c'mon, a NOSed 6spd 2k2 Max. Imagine how fast it would run. But knowing your luck Steve, you might run slower with NOS.

I was at that dealer too! I took it out by myself and wow was it fast! After doing a few Dukes of Hazard type jumps I must say the suspension is quite nice! 6K clutch drops are amazing with this car..not too much smoke comes off the tires! The ABS brakes were awesome while stomping on them at 145mph to a dead stop! That particular car was amazing I must say!

Good service bluefish! Can't wait to see some pics or feedback.. That is the best color combo and if I was to buy a 2k2 I probably wouldn't change a thing and get one just like that! Steve where are you? We want to hear feedback...

I'm here. i had to work right when i got back to town then i cruised around for a long *** time. I LOVE MY NEW CAR. All the little quirks and little things the 4th gens didn't have this one does. It is also so fast. it's ridiculous, so much faster than my 95 auto. i was getting eye fu<ked by every person i passed. Dan once again thank you very much for all your help, if you are in the area i would go here. And also Dan sorry about my friends, they like ****ing my off. I have over 200miles on the car already. hopefully 500 by tomorrow
i raced a jetta, that was rebadged as a bora well i beat him pretty bad. the shifter is nice, i actually like the deadness of a cable. that throws are good and smooth and the dual synchros on 1st and 2nd are very nice. The HIDS are totally amazing. i could never live without them now. hmm i too tired to think of anything else other than this car is beautiful!!! Sprint your 3rd on my list of races next week once i get my launch down. Emax when you wanna come look at my baby oh well bedtime.

Once the car is broken in and you know how to shift you should be able to eat any NA Max (2k1 or less modded or not) on a roll.

From a dead stop ya for sure! On a highway roll top end I don't think so. There is only one way to know for sure and I know you guys will be putting it to the test! I found the Altima 5spd stock to be at least as fast as my 2K1 5spd with custom intake and Y on a roll.
