I was reading on off-topic.net they are doing a secert santa thing for x-mas. Is there any interest in doing this here on the org? I think it would be kinda fun...

 

it sounds like a fun idea but think about how many people will end up buying something only to get nothing in return

 

The way it works is you sign up, so that way someone buys for you and you buy for someone else. So those who dont want in arent, and everyone who is in sends and recives.

 

This would be a nifty idea for xmas.. like maybe a $15 minimum kinda deal, along with a gift receipt or something.

i know how it works but lets say we sign up. you get sprint, i get you, and kevin 'danger' powers gets me. you buy sprint a gift, kevin sends me my pokemon sheets (that i dont already have) but then i decide i dont want to do this or i forget or im just a low life who wants free pokemon sheets. i have a feeling its bound to happen to someone.

Well, on off-topic.net they have a special forum setup and people post thier wish list, so people have a good idea what to get. I think this would work pretty well,as lot of people on here have shops so they could give like aluminum pedals, shift *****, shift boots, etc. And then theres always nissan flags, shirts, and just regular real life, non car presents... at least i think they have those.

 

Well we wont let newbes on it (maybeits mean, but for somthing like this, you just kind of have to) so its going to be just the maxima.org regulars and there will be a personwho keeps track of everything, so they will know that you kept those sheets for yourself and didnt send me the new pokemon movie.
