Just curious what's the fastest everyone has gotten their Max up to? I was on an open empty road one night(with my maxima still stock) and I hit 140(eventually). I don't have an MDM-100 or anyway to read speed past that, but for those who have digital read outs of your speed past the 140 mark please post. (don't recommend speeding or going out and doing this just to post, but previous info gathered is welcome)

And yes I did that so I guess my top speed is 157.Before mods I got my car up to 138MPH.I am waiting for the UPRD ECU that way maybe I will break 160MPH MUHAHAHA!

 

There is only one thing though, the stock tach and speedo are off. The rev limiter on the 4th gens is 6700 IIRC, but the tach will so like 6900-7000rpm when you hit it. But you would be hitting 160mph right at the rev limiter in 5th gear.

 

hard to go very fast around my neck of the woods without some perious penalty--typical cruiing speed is about 70-80---and for those times that I can sneak some speed in--probably 100. if you get caught 30 miles over the posted speed limit--that is it--jail and tolling of your vehicle--shoudl I say "impounding".

=) Guess I am chicken then--but with the standard ecu on the Max--I don't think I will be able to crack 125-130.

I had a wide open road down in Texas a couple years ago. No cars [or pick-ups!] in sight. My Max hit what looked like an indicated 145 MPH+ before approaching oncoming traffic made me decide to cool it. I don't think I had much left at that point...
