My family has been dealing with the Midas muffler shop on Military Rd. just over the border for YEARS! Compitent mechanics with very fair prices. Just ask for John, and let him know that Al's son Adam from Canada sent you. You will start travelling those couple hours for jobs like we do when you know you are getting things done right.

They do all types of work. We've had everything done there....front suspention...brakes...axels...alignments...everyth ing you can think of.
The nice part of having it done at Midas is that their guarantee transfers over to our side of the border. Every now and then you get a Midas dealer up here who tries to add on extra labour cost saying that its a fee for using your american guarantee here, just tell him where to go and you will call head office. Apparently, they dislike honouring guarantees that dont make them any money....go figure!

oh yea thanks alot guys i will take alook onto the other forums
They dont really have labour from what I gather. Their installation prices are inclusive in the price. I'm sure you could ask him what they charge, they're pretty reasonable. In fact, my father needed to get part of the exhaust done on his Jeep last week. He went to the midas here for a quote so we could tell the guys there what parts were needed. When we told the guys in the states what they were charging here, he asked if he had a mask on when he asked us. To give you an example, the Midas here wanted $50 for a tail pipe, and $50 for its install! A TAIL PIPE!
Best thing to do is give John a call, let him know who you know, and go from there.

Yeah, just grabbed my first max a couple weeks ago. It's a 98 SE 5spd. So far the car is awesome. The guy before me obviously was a member here, all the good mods are already done....y pipe, underdrive, exhaust, front 300z calipers and rotors.....you know, the easy stuff
The only thing is that the car needed a tranny when i got it, so it took me a while to get it rebuilt and to get the car up to speed so to speak.
It's a shame, the car also had an ACT pressure plate, but it was marred and I was told that machining the pressure plate was not a good idea....oh well, dynapak it is
