Well, my exhaust is pretty much rusted, my stock B pipe hangs down too low and the resonator is banging on the holder underneath the car, which annoys me greatly. So I am going to have a local muffler shop make me a new one. I figure why pay 200+ for a name brand piece when you can get it for 75 somewhere else. Will it be essentially the same? I don't really care about the HP increase, it's minimal to begin with. I just want my Stillen muffler louder and I dont want to hear my exhaust banging around over bumps anymore.

 

if you dont care about HP gain and simply want it redone.. make sure they do it in SS, 304 or 409.. NO ALUMINUM. And when they weld it on, make sure there are no leaks while it is there..

 

Is it 2.5 inches I should ask for or what?
