I just changed my title to my name from my moms and now the tile says on it M millage exceeds the mechanical limits because my mom put the check by in by mistake . should i worry about it ? it use to say A for exact millage but now its M . Should i worry about it when i try selling the car ? It does not say thats the millage is incorrect . What you guys think ?

 

Get it changed back to the correct code. A potential buyer will not like that.

 

in illinois 99% of titles for cars that are over 10 yrs old are marked "in excess of mechanical limits" even if the actual mileage is told.

 

it's not the biggest problem but i'm sure no one is going to believe there's over 999,999 miles on it.
