heres the one i have. I would want something similar but with a nicer clip. I guess its silk screened or whatever...if it was embroidered it would be nicer. I would probably rather have a white strap with back or dark silver/grey lettering. And I vote no on the detachable clip. no plastic.

Yeah, I'm getting a quote for 3/4" and 1". Black cloth, silver embroidered (as others have said, I think silk screened will wear out). As for the carbinger, I'm having trouble finding a company that does it. I may just get them done separately, with maxima.org logo etched on there, and assemble the carbinger to the lanyard myself.

These would be awesome to have

Maybe they'll be passed out as well at Maxus 09?

Good news: I found a company to make them. Bad news: I'm gone for a few days for the holidays. Hope y'all can wait! I'mma try to get pics tomorrow @ lunch time for y'all. I'm stoked about this! I will def consider having extra ones made for Maxus.

I've got a lil secret up my sleeve... I think you guys will get a kick outta it. It's actually a 3 or 4 part program. Putting together the final touches, hopefully by week-end.

In the mean time, keep the thread alive by telling me what you guys expect in a $10 lanyard.

It's 3/4 inch thick, very comfortable to wear. The logo is stitched, so it won't wear off.

I will produce these when I get 20 paid orders by Monday, Jan 12. If we don't get 20 paid orders in, I will refund your money.

$10 shipped

Very nice. I'd make those, but I'm not very artistic. If someone wants to send me some artwork, I can get those made.

There's 2 ways to do lanyards. 1 is the woven method, which's what we went with. They are high quality and don't wear off. The issue is that they must be ordered in bulk. There's not possibility of personal customization.

Or, they can be silk screened. These can be custom made, but they can wear off. If you're interested in this, contact me directly via PM.

I'm actually surprised that 20 is considered bulk. But w/e $10 is not bad at all.

LOL. Trust me, it's MUCH more than 20. 20 was a number to help with the initial setup costs, the rest I'm paying outta my pocket. I have no idea what I'm gonna do with the rest... and there'll be a lot left over. Maybe I'll take a trip to Maxus and distribute there? I'm doing this for the luv of Maximas (I don't even drive mine anymore... it's being parted out in the 4th gen forums at the moment.) Does this classify me as hardcore OG?

Sorry to hear about your loss. Having the Lanyard will remind you of the good times.
