I really want a Stillen full kit or a Razzi kit, but I am still a high school student who is tight on money so I'll probable be taking the cheap way around upgrading my car.

New tires, performance clutch, new suspension. My Max needs a good deal of work, and while doing the work why not just upgrade.

I PLAN to find a good used automatic Tranny and get it back on the road ASAP. I am in Charlotte, NC if anybody can help me locate / has a unit they are confident can just bolt in and go. I'm asking too much, right? I just don't want to see her die... not now that I've found all you guys!

Dooms day

Umm.... Not having a repeat of last year?

May 14, 2008 on my 20th birthday All was set for total doom! I had just finished all of my exams and packed my entire dorm room into my maxima.... and headed out to drive to Queens ny to visit family... My max had been making strange noises when the wheels were cut... i though mabe a bearing??? well once i got on long island express way i was doomed! Traffic started to clear and my car just flat out died while coasting in the middle lane, so i had to pull over asap, which ended up leaving my car halfway on an onramp onto the highway. noting would work! coudent do anything start, headlights nothing,,,, called AAA and the stupid idiots sent a tow truck to the service road but not one to get me off the highway, so at this point it started getting dark! A tractor trailer almost rear ended me and stoped and helped me push my car loaded with **** onto the embankment next to the ramp of the highway... an hour later i finaly got towed to the service road and then towed to a repair shop..... The next day i get a call from the shop.... He said WOW your lucky to still be alive! I was like WTF! my alternator blew out and burnt my main fusable link which cut power to everything electrical in my car! he said he took the link out and the alternator just threw sparks all over the place and was told if i didnt have the fusable link the car would have probably caught fire! NICE! Secondly appaently my driverside front wheel bearing was about to fall off... so if it was not for the link blowing.... my car probably would have caught fire and my wheel would have soon after fallen off leaving me on 3 wheels and a car on fire filled with all of my stuff....

So this year im trying to do everything possible to avoid that situation for move out day from my dorm at school on the 14th again! Cause after all i would love to be alive for my 21st birthday. Hopefully it will be a
