Have the Rental Car Companies recieved the '02

maxima's yet?? I gotta go to Virginia Beach soon and I was hoping to rent one for a week.

That's what I thought but they claim they can't guarantee any type of car only the class. #:>(

If you make your reservations online, i believe one of the major companies will let you choose the type of car you want.

Nope they just state "Cadillac or similar, Buick Lesabre or similar. I guess I'll be driving an "or similar"..LOL!!

If you call the local office where you will be renting, you can specify through them what car you wnt. IF you go through the national office, you will not be able to.

Done it many times when I was afraid my "or similar" would be a POS.

Budget Rents 02' Maximas

I have seen the 02 Maximas at alot of Budget Rental places. I have been traveling a lot with my company, and we see them all the time at Budget. Check with them.

Nah, HID won't fit my '96 but the VQ might good thinkin', Wizedude..LOL!

The Local Office is the one who told me they can't guarantee a Maxima.. The internet stated "or similar". Imma try Budget..

Slogo has already switched.. He came by last night he already has HID's just not on a Nissan Product... He still has Oatmeal Max though..

The lady at Budget said she can't guarantee but to call her the day before and she'll hold it for me..

It seems that the local rental companies have less of a choice than the airports but I don't want to have to return a car at the airport on a Friday, too busy..
