injectors
hey everyone, I didn't know exactly where to stick this thread so i'm just going to put it in the general, admins, plz move accordingly.............. but, I wanted to know what is the stock size of the vq30de injectors and the vq30dek injectors? I am currently looking up up grade my injectors, but i do not know how high i should go.... Thanks.
Ummm.... If your going to say that no one else has answered my thread and you are, then give me some HELPFUL INFORMATION........ I am going to be boosted which is why I wanted to know the injector numbers...... Any one on this site should know that it is worthless to up grade injector size if their not boosting.
I've been trying to help you out, I know of the exact thread that lists the injector sizes and part numbers from the 30de, the 30dek, the 35de fwd, 35de RWD, and 35hr.
The only thing is, the f

ing search feature on this board absolutely sucks and returns the exact same hundreds of results no matter how many things I search for.
EDIT: Ugh, the search is definitely fubared. Look at one of the posts the search returned:
Still havn't tracked the problem down...I'm starting on the combination switch now...but I'm not sure if it makes sense that only one light would illuminate if the switch were bad...
Ideas?
Guess my search terms:
timing advance afc injectors vq35 dek

Anyway, off the top of my head the VQ30DE injectors are mid 200cc's with the DEK's being approximately 20 or 30 cc's more. The VQ35 injectors are close to 300 I believe with the RWD version being slightly higher and the revup/HR being even higher.
I think...don't quote me on it. I will try to get you the real numbers.
Not necessarily, one advantage to going to bigger injectors even on a stock setup is that with larger injectors you can use an AFC piggyback to tune the AF ratio to compensate for the larger injectors. Even though you basically tune it back to stock fuel flow, it is the AF compensation that in essence tricks the computer to advance ignition timing. So, a benefit of larger injectors is that it does trick the ECU into adding some timing which can provide power gains.

No one else has answered so I will:
If you don't know what size the stock injectors are then you most probably don't have a need to increase the size unless your going forced induction route

i was reading a thread, cant remember if it was on NYCmaximas, or on here, and i coulda swore i saw where someone said the DE-K, and 3.5 uses the same injectors, and in fact the de-k flows a little more. i think somebody was doing a 3.5 swap but was asking about using De-k injectors. i was under the impression that 3.5 was better, but they said de-k flow a little bit more than the FWD 3.5, like the RWD 3.5 injectors... so now i'm lost in the sauce again
