but exactly what the title says. im trying to avoid making my own bracket or getting a mallfinder tb. i have the tools to drill my own holes if need be i just want to know if it is possible

 

so your going to use this in your 4th gen with cables correct? and you have a 3.5 setup?

Then yes with the resources it will work (drills), it would just be like doing the 00vi swap essentially

I have a 4th gen that i will be swapping in a 3.5 and i was curious about putting the 5th gen tb(off the 00vi) onto the 3.5 by drilling.

Because isnt the PF Tb and the de-k tb essentially the same minus the bolt pattern??

Yes I was DaveVQ, Until I own a VQ again(which should be in a month or two), I'm Drunkie.

Pathy TB is suppose to bigger bore IIRC, but I had my 5th gen TB bored out to 70mm by Proflow.

I could see this being a good alternative then having to convert the drive by wire TB and make it easier to reuse the TPS and IACV.
