Problem Non-Gen Specific
Recently my manual transmssion in my 1998 Maxima went. Non Locking Diff(Dont know if that matters) When i say went i mean a seal, a cracked case, something went wrong. I cant shift into some gears and others are sometimish. I cant even drive the car.
My problem:
Im removing the transmission but the gearbox has grabbed the axles and is refusing to let them go. What methods can I take to get the driver side axle out? so that i can drop the tranny and inspect it further.
Thanks In Advance Guys

The dirvers side is usually the easy one to get out.
Did the passenger side come out?
If you get one out, use a hammer and rod and go at it from the opposite side.
If you can't get them out, take them apart and leave the inner CV joint on the tranny.
