My informal test shows a VE 3-gen one weighs 19lbs. Gonna take it to get lightened today. Gonna ask them to balance the FW and pressure plate together. Does anyone know how much the stock VG or stock VQ FW weigh?? I think 19lbs. is a little light for a big car. My scale is not exactly hi-tech. Oh well, time to replace the rear main seal and punch out the pilot shaft bearing. NE1 know an easy way to do this? I gonna try some kind of slide punch. Took the tranny out(2 people) in about 2 hours. Not bad.

well, the flywheel from a B-series motor(except Type R) is about 18lbs stock. I just bought a new Type R flywheel this morning which is 14lbs stock from the factory. I had mine lightened but I don't think it was done tight. Maybe I should have taking in my clutch and PP. I wonder if that's the problem... hmm....

19lbs does seem a bit light for such a big car.
