V directional tires backwards?

Today I saw a max in the shopping center parking lot with the front V directional tire mounted backwards on one of the front tires.

What if any will be the result of something like this in good & bad weather?

Thanks.

i know that the water wont be redirect correctly so traction on wet roads will be effected noticeably.

Actually the water will be redirect right back in to the tire instead of away from it.

I had unidirectional Blizzaks mounted backwards for a couple weeks 3 winters ago. Didn't notice a thing... then again, they were snows. And it was winter.

Oddly enough, turning them around proper didn't relieve my embarrassment.

It'll hydroplane real fast. NTSB may find it during the accident investigation.

My neighbor had them on her VW backwards. She hit a center barrier one rainy evening becasue of it. She never would have know if it wasn't for the tow truck driver to tell her about it. The shop that installed them paid for her car.
