Understand your frustration. Ease up on the language or risk being moderated.

Again, understand your feelings, just keep the language PG.

I've been looking over the Cattman coilovers, but after this reaction I think it's safe to say NOPE

Yeah, I say stay away from them too. I have them and 98 max is right. All they do is make alot of noise, and give a jarring ride. I helped the ride out some by changing the spring rates. They were all wrong for this car. He didn't even use heavy-duty upper strut mounts!! That was the first to go on my car. The threads aren't secure to the strut body, causing them to rattle all the time. Doesn't give a stable ride. We need a true coilover setup using threaded strut bodies, instead of just a threaded collar.

I've ridden in two cars (one I30, one Max), with the Cattman set-up and they were both suuuuweet. How low did you go?

LOL. Nah, it is just not that low. As you know the maxima comes with MAD wheel gap. The eibock/tokiko settup lowers 1.25 inches. so i am 1.75 lower in front and 1.5 in the rear.

Frustrating but assuming you have the first gens, they are just not made to drive around that low. Unfortunately pinging is par for the course on the Gen I's. I can't really visualize the collar banging around since it was a real pita to get mine off
You gotta admit, they handle awesome in the twistie.

Re: Broke another coilover!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, I already spent too much money because my Cattman's broke twice, that's why I'm gonna switch to Ground Controls already.

3inch drop on any coilover is pretty much to much for driving. I think the gen 2's are better than the gen 1's but I guess i'll see over time.
