How many VQs do you own?????

Well Ive have owned maximas for about 5 years(2).

i am a pack rat im horrible at it. I keep everything.(i know im not alone here)

But i have a collection going on. Recently I swapped over a VQ35 and know she is knocking.

Most likely i will grab another one and redo the swap. But i was thinking, man Im starting to collect VQ's or something cause after this one i will have 5 VQ engines and i will only have one in the car.

So a total of 4 just laying around.

I know by all means i dont have the most.

But for someone not knowing to much about cars when i bought my first max over 5 years ago i never imagined i was going to own 5 engines for a car.

I have 4 that I have to move out of my garage tommorow, allthough 3 are either blown up or in need of serious repair, so I'm probably going to stuff them at my house for now.

+1

The bottom end internals in a 3.0 is stronger than a 3.5 IMHO(personal experience)

Just the rod bolt design itself is stronger

Just because its the most reliable nissan i've ever owned, has a way better turn radius (to me) than the 5.5, doesnt burn oil, and i didnt really want to get rid of my previous one (my GF sure did though )

I've heard about this (and seeing your 7.5k pulls on your 3.0 ), but that doesn't stop the masses to flock to the 3.5.

This is my 1st VQ but it won't be the last.
