Where do you wash your car in the winter (All cloth, Touchless, Do it yourself bay)

Everyone who lives in a warm clmate - Buuu-by. If you have access to a heated garge or can afford to pay someone to hand wash your car follow the warm climate guys .

Everyone else, Where do you wash your car in the winter? Is the touchless car wash better than the all cloth? Is it OK to use the brush in the 'do it yourself' bay if you spray it with the high pressure hose first? Is it worth paying for the extras (wax, underbody wash etc.) at the automatic car wash? Where I live we occasionally get a day above freezing in the winter, I think this is the only time it is practical to use the do it yourself bay.

I try to wash it myself as often as I can. I have access to a warm water hookup VIA my bathroom, so winter washes aren't that bad. There is a really high end automatic car wash in my town. Full service is 10 bucks, inside and out. They do an excellent job, windows and all, they even wipe down the door jams. Tire shine is an extra 2fity and worth it. They use good $hit!

i try and wash my car when i can, but when i see water and soap freezing up on my hood then i just bring it down to the local carwash. Its $5 at night 6-9pm for exterior only or $8 with tire shine and wax! my front lip barley touches the rail as it goes through. well ateast you cant see where it scrapes

I wash mine by hand until it gets cold enough wherer the water freezes on the car. When that happens I'll take it down to the do-it-yourself bay at night and wash it by hand. I don't trust any carwashes.
