I'm selling my 2000 Nissan Maxima which is a Beauty, CAR SHOW READY
I wonder what his idea of a car show ready vehicle is. Anyone notice the center console? It looks absolutely maimed.

I'm pretty sure car shows also frown upon the idea of a two-tone of candy paint+factory paint in the engine bay.

Anyone notice the sixth gen sitting behind this pos in the one pic?

i suggest we all chip in $50, buy the car, bring it to a field, bring our weapons of choice, destroy it.

i'm in.

you know, i actually almost bid on this car when i saw it was a manual, dreaming of de-modding and re-painting, turning this into a respectable car. then i saw the lack of a clutch pedal in one of the pics and closed it immediately.

fuxk the dubs community. just sayin'.

its just so stupid though, i bet he spent $10k at least on the ugly ****. $10000 would have paid for a complete turbo, complete exhaust, and maybe some decent 17" rims.

basically, he could have had a ~350hp car that hauls *** on the track, but he blew it on some ugly crap and big *** wheels.

pretty much i bet that things so slow that if a old person on a electric scooter raced him, the old person would win and the Maxima would blow its tranny from those dam rims

Those rims wouldn't look bad on a truck

But I wonder what is the resale value of those rims, I think you can make a pretty penny selling those rims back. But if the car wasn't...er...pink... I would have probably bought it and sold all that crap to buy normal mods.

I didn't even recognize it as a 5th gen until I saw the butchered dashboard. Things like this overwhelm my usual tolerance for personal taste. What a tool.

It makes me wonder about the Maxus events. Certainly there are cars in attendance like this, with gay decals and clown wheels. How do you guys deal with it? Are they openly ridiculed, or ignored by the common sense mainstream like Sarah Palin at a bookstore?

I agree with the general consensus, a waste of money and a max.
I felt obligated to link the seller to this discussion and wish him luck w the sale

Usual tolerance for personal taste?

How many Rochesters are there on this forum? I was extremely surprised to see that you werent the creator of this thread as you are THE .org basher of all things not status quo or trendy.
