But for the ones that don't I think we will all say crazy unrelentless things about it because we would never do that in we know the VALUE of money i these times of unemployment, and whatever else negative that it takes money to overcome. Wow some people got so riled up from your thread. I'll admit, it was kind of a waste of money + potential damage to a nice car. But no body died, you didn't ruin your car, hell didn't freeze over... so I think the situation is all clear.

And those SE-R wheels are NIIICE! Personally I don't like the design because I like the simple spoke design on rims, but the rims look good on your car

Oh, and I am 18 too! Yay!

It was either an awesome stunt, from an 18 year old POV. Or it was an embarrassing lapse in judgment, creating an expensive life lesson. Considering the amount of pride in his posts, and the very existence of this soon-to-be-locked thread, I'd say the former applies.

But OP, you can't have it both ways. Creating this thread is just another way to expose yourself for the thrill. And that's lame, at any age.

We've all done dumb things. But to brag about it, with a video no less... big fail.

Haha honestly I would have never done this due to me loving my car too much and my bad, BAD financial situation because of college.

But no one is perfect and we all make mistakes, some worse than others, but learning from it and passing that information on to others is what really matters.

Ok, I'm wondering what is the definition of a "kid" these days? Is it now older than 18? So, is it 19? 20? 21? 22? Seriously, being 18 and doing stupid **** like this is no excuse. "He's just a kid" is an excuse for this kind of behavior. If this is a normal expectation it is no wonder our country is in the sh1thole it is in right now. This is the future of America we are looking at.

Honestly, I hope his insurance drops him because that will definitely be a lesson learned.

I guessed you missed the point here. It wasn't just the fact of the burn out. Yes, we've all done stupid things as a child, kid, young adult, whatever you want to call it.

It is the fact people are condoning the behavior. Not to mention the location of the burn out.

i dont think anyone is condoning it per say...

he did something stupid.. he admitted it?..he wasnt trying to showcase this at all.. ,.. why are we pusing this topic around so much ..

yes.. he was an idiot and got caught,.. i hope he learned his lesson,..people learn lessons from mistakes and if you all dont know that by now then i feel sorry for the blind life you lead,.. if he didnt learn his lesson then history repeats itself and the lesson will be MUCH harder learned the next time it happens...

..and on that note,..i bet you all are hypocrites.. i would be hard pressed to believe if noone has ever done something stupid ,..wether we all got caught is a different story,..its ok to be empathetic once in a while..jeeze

Try reading my entire post....I specifically said, "We've all done stupid things as a child, kid, young adult, whatever you want to call it."

And yes, people in this thread are condoning it when they say "Nice burnout!" "That was sick." "One hella nice burnout."

But I suppose that is not condoning the action.

Thats the problem with youth these days. If you poop in a bag and post it in youtube, its automatically cool and you have "street cred." When I was in high school and you did some thing like this, AND GOT CAUGHT your friends would never let you live it down. The OP is actually proud of getting caught and disrupting the day of up to 200 people. In 5 years he will realize that it was a stupid move.

Totally agree. The fact that he's proud of it makes him a complete tool.

Why hasn't this thread been locked and this moron banned?

Banned????? Are you friggin serious??? If he gets banned for showing pics/vids of a burnout and being proud, then everyone who buys HID kits then stick dem in halogen housings and show us their pics should be banned. It could be argued that their behavior is WAY more dangerous than his burnout!

Yes, of course I'm friggin serious. Your argument is invalid. You can't contest the merits or faults of one behavior by comparing it to something unrelated or hypothetical. That's like saying Health Insurance Reform will cost less than the Iraq Invasion. While true, it's a pointless comparison.

From most of what I've read in this forum, there's a distinct line drawn between responsible behavior, and being a fool.

Most adults aren't interested in suffering the fool. But by all means, continue his defense. Enlighten us as to why this boy should be allowed to share his lame streaker moment with the forum.

Guys, we keep bumping this pointless thread to the top while allowing constructive ones, that might go unresolved, to take a backstage.
Let's resist the temptation of adding anything else and let it die, if it's not locked anytime soon.
With this post, I take a vow to not even look at this thread anymore.

The only thing invalid here is your reading and mental comprehension. Had you been more interested in objectively responding to me instead of rattling off a bunch of emotional drivel similar to a woman on her period, you would have realized that absolutely nothing I said encouraged, condoned, or justified his actions as acceptable. I frankly said his actions were stupid and as such he is clearly realizing the consequences.

Maybe I need to slowly break down what I was alluding to since mental aptitude is not your strong point. Let's try it slowly. If his actions, videos, and pics, which as we previously pointed out were stupid, deserves banning, then other .org members that do other illegal and dangerous things such as sticking HID kits in there halogen housings then posting pics and videos here should be banned as well. Following me so far? The reason for this is because it can be argued that the effects of the kit, BLINDING GLARE, are probably more dangerous than his stupid burnout in which no one was hurt.
My argument alluded to his proposed banning, not the justification of his actions. Try to keep up next time.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

No matter where I go every FWD forum (there are more specifics but not the point) is full of people riding in on shiny white horses.

Threads like this make me wish I got a 240.

Seriously people? 3 pages?

Ugh.

Nice rims, nice burnout.

/thread.

I doubt insurance will drop you considering "Tints, license plate cover, 09 class tassel hanging from my rear view, seat belt" don't carry any points and you can likely get a few dropped.

Wheels look great!

One question though, you are on private property correct? If the owner okays this type of activity could you still receive a ticket? Just curious.

you cannot be pressed with any automotive tickets(blanket statement) involving cleared distance, wreckless driving ect on private property in Ohio. but disturbing the peace while in a car seems perfectly within the peramiters(sp) of the law to me.

+1 on destroying a tire, dont see that to often.

I thought there was some type of law like that. I know people that 4 wheel on their private property while drinking beers and new it was not illegal.

Haha yea the peace was disturbed without a doubt.
