The Max is the most RELIABLE midsize!

The Max made JD power list as the most reliable midsize sedan in 1997. http://carpoint.msn.com/advice/news_4019432_6.asp

I guess nobody told JD power about the rattles

Hey now, the car can have rattles and stil be dependable..

But it's surprising the Camry/Accord didn't get in there... I guess it's because they haven't been redesigned yet in 1997......

I get occasional rattles only due to my upgraded suspension. Never had them before I lowered the car. I guess it used to be a Minima.

Good way to get rid of rattles is turn up the volume of the stereo!

Drive your lowered car with 17s (or is it 18s?) around NYC roads for a while and then get back to me . . .

I don't think there have been any serious recalls or problem symptoms in the 1997 models. All the kinks in the 4th Gens were ironed out in the '96 models. The only issue I observed around the .ORG was failing alternators, which didn't happen to most.

what did they say about...

the TLS/CLS? Rotor, tranny, squeaks and rattles. Misaligned body parts. Don't get me wrong, they were my second choice behind the Max.

In those two Acura forums they are talking about a 295hp 6 speed coming out in the near future.
