when is HLSD supposed to go into production and then come out on the market? i just called my dealer and he said production is mid-January for HLSD. i thought they started production at the end of Nov or beginning of Dec and they'd be at dealers by Jan?

Spoke w/a dealer in Fayetteville, NC when I went to visit my parents last weekend. They do not expect to get HLSD 6-spds until late Feb. They are a volume dealer and generally get a good selection of new cars early but they could not even order them yet.

My dealer was finally able to process my order this past Tuesday,
12/04. He told me that I can possibly get my car at the end of
January 02, but that I shouldn't be surprised if my 6spd-HLSD Max
actually arrives sometime in mid-February 02 (maybe even late
February). I think Nissan was supposed to begin manufacturing
6spd-HLSD Max's on December 01. But a projected mid-late Feb. 2002
delivery date seems to indicate that production will probably
start in January 02.
