Dumb me scraped my back rear rim today cuz I wasn't paying attention backing up. It's not that bad, but is there anything I can do to sorta make it smooth and buff it out? Thanks

 

that sux, you can get the wheel refinished by a shop though it wont exactly be cheap

Just jokin with ya. There are places that refinish wheels, for about $60 a wheel, give or take a little depending on how bad the damage is. You could find out how much just one wheel is brand new if the price to have it fixed it too high, might as well replace it

hmm, I guess I'll live with a while, I just meant is there anything to smooth or buff it out.

 

I just noticed a nice lil scratch on one of my verdicts. It looks like it was done by a tow truck when I got towed to the dealer. Its odd. It is about an inch long, and the mirror image side of the opposite spoke has the identical mark, so unless the curb was 18 inches tall, it was the trucks satrps or the dealer.

I buffed most of it out with my typical Mothers brand wheel polish. I think its only noticable to me now. I put my face so close to the dang things when I clean them.

 

It will also depend on what finish you have. Obviously CHROME would be a lot more..

I would just reccomend you get some polish and buff it out as well as you can... but if anything, leave it alone.. No big deal, it's hard to completely avoid this..
