Law Enforcement and Maximas

Lately I've been noticing that there are quite a few Maximas in the "employee lot" at the station where one of my clients is a cop. They're not stock looking either which makes me wonder... Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me?

Do you know any cops who drive a Maxima whether modded or not? or are you a Police officer who drives a Maxima?

I'm looking into getting a job with law enforcement if the opportunity arises and thought "hey I have a Maxima too!"

This thread has no real purpose just thought it'd be interesting to see the numbers..

Well, it took many visits to my client's work place (CPD) and park my maxima there to notice that. I notice that mine wasn't the only one with projector headlights and different rims and little stuff that changes the overall look. I wonder if those officers who own those Maximas are on the org

I know two of them have G35s, my client once owned a 3rd gen as well.. oh well, just figured I'd post something different that isn't "How many miles on your Max?" related lol

I think its just Police in general.
They hook their rides up no matter what it is.
Truck, car, bike....always have a little something extra then civilian rides.

Why do people think that police officers have no taste?? Ive been moding cars since high school and I graduated in 94. I worked law enforcement since 99. Had a lowered Mitsubishi Galant and lowered Silverado while I was a cop. Now a Maxima.

Had this 03 Galant

and this 03 Silverado while I was a cop..lol

Nice rides, the Q in the background has some nice highway passing power and handles real nice.

I always loved the the Galants but sadly they're slow stock, even the GTZ. I had a friend with a 99 with some 17 or 18 inch wheels and it looks real sexy but the thing didnt move at all

Romanian flag is it?

Funny that you make this thread because my dad is a cop and his partner sold me my 97' max. Best car I've ever had. I'm also trying to become a police officer as well. Cops know that nissans are great cars because they have to drive around those crap crown vics. My family has owned 4 nissans pathfinder, xterra, the max and now a g35. We've never had a problem with any of them and the ford f150 and the 62 chevy we have, have had countless problems.

Yeah, Galants are snails uless you swap the EVO head and use it with the 4G64 head present in the I4 galant, followed by a 5spd manual trasmission swap from an 00-05 eclipse, then you can make some decent power. Also swap the 6G72 3.0L with the 6G74 3.5L in the V6s. I know a dude making over 600whp in a Galant.

Yes, Romanian flag.
