Would amazing if the .org would seriously consider a Canadian forum. There are 7 forums for various parts of the USA but not one for the entire country of Canada. It is really difficult for the Canadian peeps to relay msgs to one another and even to know who is living in Canada. Our cars are a little different, prices are different, we have meets etc. etc. There are are a lot of us on the .org as well! There is a freakin' off topic forum, 7 USA but not one for Canada? I've posted this in feedback a few months back and got no responses from mods or the big guys.

Yup! A lot of guys I met earlier in the summer don't come on the .org much anymore for various reasons but one of the main ones is the fact it is close to impossible to relay msgs to each other easily and in one place.

No integration with all the northern USA forums but our own forum.

Ya man Toronto has enough meets and there are some crazy Maximas up in TO for sure! Let alone all the guys I know here in Ottawa, Montral and all the other guys in Ontario and Quebec. I know there are a lot of guys out west as well especially in Vancouver. There are more 2K2 auto and 6spd owners in Canada on the .org than in the USA! We have supercharged Maximas, all gens of Maximas, body kit maximas, pimped out maximas, we even have different models and standard features on some of our rides.

Would be a nice Christmas gift to the country of Canada if we got a forum on the .org! For Real!

Doesn't slow the site down since most of the posts would be made in the general forum or the other gens but they just get mixed in with everything else and is freakin pain to weed through all the threads. This is a Maxima forum right? But there is OT, and Other FS but not a forum for Canadians for discussion.

Really? I hope you're right, because the last time we organized a mini-meet in the NW forum it was..... very mini! About 5 Maximas and 2 240zx's showed up. Of course this was a few weeks back when it was cold out. How many people do you know of here? (Oh, and any 3rd Gen owners? I'm all alooooooone out here AFAIK.)

Yes, a Canada forum might be nice... of course the problem is lots of people are already mixing in with the US guys on the regional forums and it'd be just another forum to check. Might be less useful for organizing meets and get-togethers, but more useful for selling parts and discussing Canada-specific issues.

Should we really push (gently ) for this? Then we should probably open up a new thread with a topic like: "We need a Canadian Forum here!" or something so people see it, and then post in the regional forums we hang out at to get support for the thread. Good idea/bad idea?

 

Well your right I can't speak for Vancouver since I don't live in that area. I know there are a few guys out there on the .org though. Toronto area alone probably has close to 100. I know a lot of guys in Ottawa on the .org. There is a crew of guys in Montreal as well. And there a whole bunch of guys scattered all over the country and even far up north!
