yes give us some more insight. milage? regular maintenance done to it? you also have to keep in mind that a 19 year old car is going to have some things that are going to have to be replaced (brakes, struts, gaskets, filters, fluids, etc.), but all aside that TT would be a blast.

depends, need what work your Max has done to it, as well as the Z32's mileage, condition, turbo condition, auto or stick, 2+0 or 2+2, etc.

z32: insurance will be higher, mpg probably lower, repair/maintenace cost higher
fun as hell. easier to find upgrades for, better to mod

a32: cheaper, and bland.

which is more important: fun or money? this is the ultimate question you need to ask yourself.

imo, a nice 4th gen for a nice z32 is a hella good deal.

Umm have any of you ever had to change the spark plugs on a 300? It's a good 2 hour job. Definatly the worst car Nissan made to work on the engine. No space at all, but on the bright side you'll be tt which = tons of power and rwd fun!! If you think it's a good deal and the engine checks out then it's deffinatly worth the trade!!

yeah, the Z32 TT engine is tight as hell, barely any work space.

just make sure its a good trade though, because here i could buy a RHD TT 300zx cheaper than a clean low mileage 4th gen. all areas are different though, but if youre wanting something RWD go for it

i would pass. if someone is willing to do a straight trade for a lightly modded max, IMO sound like something is fishy. i would keep you maxima...

^^^ I agree!

One time someone offered to trade me their Supra which was modded to hell, for my near stock Maxima back then. When I heard that I was like OMG OMG OMG! And so, I asked him how does it run? And he said it runs great! Then I asked how come he wants to trade it for a slower, and stock Maxima. Then he said he likes the color and wanted to get back in the Maxima world. So, I asked him how much he thinks his car is worth, and he said he knows its worth about 25K or more. And so I asked him how come he doesn't just sell it and buy like 5 Maximas instead of trading it for my car which I bought for 2K.

And so overall, I don't know of many people out there who is willing to basically give a car worth more than 11 times the cost of the car being traded.

As far as change spark plugs on a 300ZX its not so hard just pull 2 bolts per cylinder (12 bolts) pull out coilpack remove spark plug, Yes on the back cylinders you have to pull off the balance tube thats only 5 more nuts/bolts.

And yes other things are very hard to work on like turbo replacement. Everything else is easy enough thought room is tight. Check www.twinturbo.net and yes I would worry about a high milage 300zx much like any turbo car as turbos are simply a wear item. But hey so are piston rings.

Here is my 300ZX it has a few mods.

The older 300ZX is still one of my favorite looking cars on the road. Such clean, fluid lines. It's true art in design.

300ZX is dope. Its def a tough call cuz they hard to find.

Plugs on the max still take 1.5 - 2 hrs to complete either way. 6 plugs always gonna take some time especially the firewall side.

Maintenance will be a priority and the cost as well. Hopefully the previous owner took the best care of basic tune ups, etc. Other than that. Great car with a classic look.

There Kick *** cars.. you cant beat the sound of a turbo. I'd look into in a hope for the best. Maybe Keep both cars if you can afford it because carrying 4 or 5 people around is always a helpful thing the maxima can do comfortably and not the 300.. but your sexy will be higher for the ladies haha. Good luck
