The shop is charging me $200 to install my lowering springs, isn't that a little too much? They also just called me and told me that my strut mounts are bad and I had them installed by another mechanic only 10k miles ago, could they have gone bad that quick?

They are monroe struts btw.

 

I've been quoted anywhere from 300-400 to do springs. That sounds good to me

 

Ok well I just picked up the car and paid the $200, the mech told me that whoever installed my front strut mounts installed them incorrectly which caused them to go out so soon. Is this possible? Should I go kick that stupid mechanic who installed them's *** all over his own garage?
