324.6 hp 317 tq on the dyno

Just got back from the dyno
and thought I would SHARE the results!!.

Somebody asked me why do you share with everybody your performance gains that costs so much money to develop?

I told him that sharing makes everybody faster and drives up the maxima performance market. In turn that helps me and the maxima realm.

Baseline with SC(10lbs intercooled)was 277.7 hp 253.7 tq,
with a .028 nos jet 324.6 hp 317.5 tq.

I'll scan it next week.

hmmm I guess him being auto explains the lower tq, I think sxr7 ( is that right) is running 100 shot nos. Well whatever he is running he got 385 tq and 285hp. But I'll never get my max as high as yours. Thats one sleeper you gots there..

It is a wet kit with no extra fuel being added through
the fogger. I ran into difficulty running so much fuel
pressure to the fogger with such a small nos jet.

I'm adding the extra fuel through the injectors. Just like a
dry kit.

It's an AUTOMATIC and it's a 4th gen. The car dynoes at like 150hp stock, so 277hp is pretty good.

Intercoolers only really help when you are moving, so on a dyno they should not make a big difference.

277 vs. 290... 13 hp difference. What makes one ok and the other "dissappointing." I'd say 277 is pretty impressive.

when i dyno'd and got 295hp... 5hp away from 300... i was disappointed. just 5 more, and i would have been in the 300hp club.

I havent run at the track with the nos.

My webpage is apparently down due to AT&T screwups.

Haven't dynoed the force fed version yet, but my estimates are pretty close to what Steve puts down.

I'll pay a couple of bucks towards the "go get your car dynoed already since you have all these mods and you make estimates" fund! You must be curious but are you afraid?
