No, but it's not a common problem so .. weird ... I guess the only option would be for a reprogram

Happened to me. Went into a 10:10 movie, came out at 12:30AM and my car wouldn't start. Had to get the car towed to Nissan and paid $110 for something simple that probably took the tech no more than 10 minutes.

Is your security light on all the time now, and not flashing at you?

It just happened to me last night. The security light is on and the car cranks but won't start. Does it require reprogramming of key codes? Is there any way to reset it without having it to tow it to the dealer? I tried the steps(5 sec on/off and do it two times) mentioned in the manual but did not work.

Can only the dealer reprogram it?
