In short: Interesting topic, Evo IXs are wicked cool and light-years faster than my Maxima, last car was my first car, an '01 Ford Taurus with the massively-heavy, woefully-underpowered Iron Monster called the (Flex-Fuel) Vulcan. With the interior and passenger seat removed, I clocked it at a 9.06 second 0-60. Whoooooo! Blown head gaskets and a myriad of electrical failures prompted the move to more safe, fun waters.


Beautiful color, terrible car. Here we are, broken down on the side of the interstate after the FOURTH powertrain control module relay burned out. Thanks, UAW, for putting so little effort into making your cars. (A sticker on the window states "BUILT WITH PRIDE BY UAW #XX IN ATLANTA, GEORGIA" HAHAHAHAHA.)

1990 Volvo... Four cylinders with only 15 MPG... I'm so happy I have a much better car.

 

first car is 1992 Dodge Stealth base daily v6/5 speed, still have it. Then was a 1989 Trans Am currently with ls1/4l60e swap, still have it. Next was 1991 z28 Camaro with 305TPI/700r4 which has been sold a wile ago. Then 1967 Camaro currently with 468bbc, weiand 177 and th350, still have it. For short amount of time had a 1996 v6 mustant, sold after fixing few things, did not like it other than ac worked. Then i got my 1984 Datsun Maxima wagon and right after i got a 1995 Jeep Cheeroke sport with I6 4.0L and 5 speed.

 

I'll bite...
My first car (purchased February 2009) was a 2001 Toyota Celica GT with an AEM CAI and an Option Racing axleback exhaust. The commercials were painfully true. It just looked fast. 125 ft lbs of torque and tall gearing (4 speed auto) will do that.

Before the 2010, a 2002, a 2001 before that and the car that triggered all the Max's the classic green1996. All have been passed down in the family and scattered among the states, except the 2001 which went to car heaven. So the car before the Max's ......... A Plymouth Mini Van! I don't think I even have any pictures of it.

My first car i had was a 2002 GMC Safari Van SLT AWD idk y but i just liked it but the way i drive i blew the motor after exactly one year

I drove an 89 Toyota Supra. It was not only automatic, but non-turbo. Thing was so nice on the highway though. I highly regret selling it.

My 98 se is just so much better than any of those. The MPV was the only v6 out of the group and it was the slowest haha. I enjoyed the subarus in the snow though, damn i miss that AWD in colorado. Oh well me and the max are very happy together
