Getting NOS... Which gauges do I need?
I'm adding a NOS dry-shot kit, JWT upgraded ECU, and NOS controller. Before I install the NOS kit, I'm planning to install some excellent-quality gauges, like GReddy's top-of-the-line 60mm's (Pearl-white w/ green backlight). Should I get a fuel pressure gauge? NO2 pressure gauge? EGT gauge? A/F meter? All of the above? What other hardware do I need to complete the installation of these gauges? Please advise.

I'm sorry, but I've been doing some research on these gauges, and most of the sources I've seen suggest I stay away from Autometer, because one simply has to invest in a good gauge to get accurate readings. Someone on this board actually wrote that the Autometer gauges are good for a light show, but that's about it... Most of the suggestions I've seen so far are for GReddy (Tomei) gauges, which are more pricey, but supposed to be top-notch as far as quality/accuracy is concerned.
Anybody else have an opinion here? Thank you.

I spoke with "Ben" at JWT this evening. I asked which gauges he'd advise with my nitrous oxide installation, which will include a JWT upgraded ECU and nitrous controller daughterboard. Ben suggested only a fuel pressure gauge & a NO2 pressure gauge. He also told me neither an EGT gauge nor an A/F meter would be needed w/ the installation. What do you think about THAT?

IMHO a well equiped NOS dry kit is a better option. You can do 100hp for allot less than a JWT set up at 100hp. $ per HP at the 100hp level, a well equiped NOS dry kit will out perform the JWT kit. The JWT system is ~$900 for the ECU upgrades plus another ~$350 for the nitrous hardware. For 100hp 300zxTT injectors, even used they are ~$50 each. Both systems will need an upgraded fuel pump so thats a wash. Ballpark for a 100hp JWT nitrous system is $1550. You can do a full blown NOS system with, EGT & Fuel Press gauge, gauge pod and bottle heater for under ~$1000.
I think I'm right on this info, if Im wrong on the JWT stuff someone corect me...

I placed my order with Cattman today for the JWT upgraded ECU and nitrous-controller. (I also ordered a Cattman/Place CAI.) I already own a brand-new NOS Hardware Kit #05124. While I am tempted to go for a 100-shot system, I have decided to be content with the 65-shot kit. For now, anyway...
With this install, I plan to include a fuel pressure gauge and a nitrous pressure gauge. I may also get a GReddy A/F Meter, if it comes with its own O2 sensor. If it does, I'll install the O2 sensor in the Y-pipe, as you guys suggested. (Good idea.)
Now all I gotta do is figure out where I'm gonna put all those gauges and switches...
