Should I Part Out?

Recently got in an accident and figured that the damages wouldnt be worth fixing. If I part the car out, would it be alot more then the junkyard? Is it worth the time?

More info would really help this thread like where the car was hit, what parts are in good enough condition to sell, and do you have time/space to take it apart. I don't think a junkyard will give you no more than $300 tops for the whole thing
