Can someone, somewhere tell me if I'm getting some bum scoop or is there any validity to the fact that Nissan will be recalling the 2000 and the 2001s for faulty ignition coil systems ? I heard this from a very reputable shop in Bx. NY. over the weekend. Also there is presently a 3 1/2 month nation wide back order on the said part, this kinda got me to raise my B@#$ S@#$ flag. I can verify the back order time because its that amount of time that has passed since I placed an order for a complete set from the so said to be largest Nissan parts outlet in (Bkly) NY. I would greatly appreciluv any factual info. to substanciate what I've heard. Guidance and Blessings from the most high.

Check the 5th Gen Forum.. i don't know if their will be a FULL recall.. but maybe a Technical Service Bulletin that you can take to your dealer and have them fix..

 

Yes, there is a Technical Service Bulletin out for the coil fix. You can check out the NHTSA site for the TSB number.

 

this isnt a problem for all 2k's is it??
