Hi guys,

I sold my 1995 Max SE to my brother-in-law .. it's the white pearl. I'm wondering how to get touch-up paint for it (not the crappy pep boys kind). I know there's a PAINT CODE and all that stuff... is it inside the VIN number? Is there a place online that would have a reference guide to each car and the appropriate paint code?

later,
/aac

It should be on a plate inside the engine bay, right by the radiator. Or, you can check with your local paint shop and they will have the factory color codes in their database.

The paint code for white pearl is "QNO". I know all about it.

Just go to any Nissan dealer for it. It's 2 bottles, 1 paint and the other a pearl glaze/topcoat stuff. It was around $7 for both applications.

I found that the Dealer touch-up doesn't always match too well. . . At least it didn't on my 95 Black Emerald paint job. . .It was too light.
