I was thinking of GreyLustre & Black, nothing too crazy, think it would be subtle...here are some random pics I found:

Not my taste but two tone nonetheless:

I love the black and red. Those colors look so sharp together.

Leave the two-tone for Subaru Outbacks. Does not look good on a Maxima IMO.

I agree, it only looked good on the 2nd gen 85-88 Maxima GL/GXE's from the factory.....The rest of the Gen's it just does not look right, well on the 1st gens so so.

Black and white is a nice contrast

Of all the pics you showed I think the black and white had the best contrast-a light color contrasted by a darker color. It is a matter of personal preference of course but I think that any light-dark color combination is the best. Black and red are a little too close-uless you go with a very light red. That's just my opinion, though. In summary my advice is to keep the two colors you pick from being too close together. You want them to complement one another but not to
blend in to the point that you cannot easily distinguish one from the other.

Good luck with your project and I hope the end result is one you will really like!!!
