what is the black goo stuff for windshield and taillight called?

what is the black goo stuff for windshield and taillight called?
i assume this black goo has some flex after it is curred? thanks.

did a search on our local auto parts websites nothing came up for butyl rubber. i guess homedepot has it and call it rubber sealant?

Get a tube of Window Weld, napa sells it for $14 other auto parts stores may have it too.
3M Makes it.

It's called urethane. At least that's what we used in the panel shop.

Urethane for the windshields - because it cures. "Window Weld" is a brand name.

Butyl for the tail light - never hardens.
