I cheated on my max!

I test drove a 370z, it was niiiiice. Why cant my max, handle like that, or hug my butt in the seat when I accelerate like that. Or shift as smooth.... I just feel like a dirty old man.. I'm sorry max, can you forgive me.

I haven't driven one of those yet. I wonder how they compare to the latest Maxima or even my '07.

I am sure the car will forgive you, just have to treat it to a nice tank of gas and a cleanup.

Made me want to do the nissan commercial in reverse and shove my back end in, to make a smaller car

alas my wife said it was a pretty car with no back seat so I cant have it

I wonder if it would work with her sister and Rods logic... "but honey, at least I kept it in the family" then get the Z

Just don't tell her that her sister handles better.

Did you get to WOT the 370Z? I've yet to even see a 370Z. I live in a small-ish town (2,000 ppl) and I think I am the only one who drives a Nissan lol.

If you were going to cheat, you should have at least cheated with someone outside the family.

Now those Christmas reunions will be extra awkward.

I bought the o'l girl and nice new suspension so she would not sag and look a little more "perky" around the younger members in the family.

Why is it when a guy messes up, we pay for the "body" work? ....

Try getting the kids in the back seat of a 370Z, and then see... oh. Right. That was my reason, maybe not yours.

Actually, as much of a work-of-art I think the 370Z exterior is, the interior ergonomics are fukced up. The cockpit is uncomfortable, and I'm a standard sized guy. The beltline is insanely high, and the visibility is non-existent. It does drive nice, though. And that rev-matching 6MT is an amazing thing. Very fun tech.

It's the kind of car you have to fall in love with to want... which I guess you did. Bummer for you, bud.

I had a mild fling with a 09 maxima Saturday. Didn't wear her out but I made purr for a while. I dont like the cvt too much. Great for smooth cruising but sitting a redline while accing makes me feel like im torturing it.

I had gone to the lot to look at a 350z Nismo that was being bought at the time I showed up ( omg it was my intention to cheat!) So the 370z was there to "kick the tires"

I do have a 7yr old daughter...... she liked the car

Pretty much word for word my problem with the Z, besides that it's way too small for me.

And I know i'm going to be stepping into flame central here, but honesty is true even if it's unpopular... For the last few years I've thought of the Z as a girl car.

I've only seen two 370s on the highway since they came out, and both times... blazing hot ladies behind the wheel. Maybe I just WANT to see them driving cars like that...

My Maxima lady started to dabble a little too much into drinking for my taste. Once she got to the point where it was a quart a week, I knew it was time to move on. Her habbit was just too expensive, and I couldn't rev her up the way I used to be able to without all the blue-smoke b*tching that came with it.

So I filed for divorce and got myself a new girlfriend.

That's an interesting stereotype... and now that I think about it, I have to agree. Most of the 370Z's that I see on the road are owned by women. And more often than not, these are good-looking women. Huh.

I remember when my dealership got the Z in stock. They called me to come down for a test-drive because they knew I was interested. I dropped everything and rushed over with a friend from work who drove a Porsche 911 Twin-Turbo. I did all the driving (because he couldn't drive a MT. Haha!) It was a roller-coaster ride, whipping that car around the highway ramps, and putting that rev-matching feature through the paces.

However, it was immediately evident this was not the car for me. It was like wearing a suit-of-armor. Sure, it looks awesome and does what it does well. But you're not going to wear a suit-of-armor all day long. You'll get a rash.

Thanks!

And definitely whatever you want is the most important... I think it's a fantastic car and no shame whatsoever in driving one... was only stating how I came to have the impression I do.

Yeah, just how I draw my conclusions. My sister tells me that my car looks like a girl's car all the time. Just her opinion... I rely on the fact that I have (since buying it) seen 3 others on the road, all with male drivers. She even admitted that the only other two she's seen both had male drivers, but she still insists that it's a girl's car.

Going to be heading up to dallas this weekend. There is a car lot in Grapevine that has a few 350z,370z... and GT-R's.
Think I might have to dust off my credit score and hope its high enough to get some test drives in ...

While the gt-r is waaayyyyy out of the realm of reason, if your gonna cheat...... hubahuba

Why does the grass always seem greener on the other side?

Can add 2011 Subaru sti (is it me or the hatch-backs ugly) and a 2011 evolution. I must say, that car was nicer than I was expecting

But no car payments FTW!
